Hello my friends!!
I am so happy to be writing this post today and it’s all about our baby that it’s on its way! I have been making some small preparations (more when I stop working) and I love it! It has been a bit more than seven years since my daughter, Phaedra was born and it feels some times like a different life back then. She was my first and I didn’t know much about parenthood. Now, I feel like it’s all coming back to me in pieces and I can’t wait to experience again the whole process from the beginning.
The BIG news is that now we know that we are expecting another GIRL and we are over the moon!!!!!! My daughter is thrilled to have a little sister and Mr. D is loving the idea of lots of girls in the family 🙂 What else could we wish for!!
More on this and much more soon…
Now, I want to show you the little Crochet Baby Booties I made.
Before you ask why the color green, I must say that it is my favorite!! And to be honest, I don’t believe in the pink/blue segregation!! Colors are lovely and make people happy…and that’s that! ( a little of personal opinion there!!)
How to make Crochet Baby Booties
To make this Oh, so pretty Crochet Baby Booties I watched the YouTube video of WoolyWondersCrochet! This is the best way for me to learn how to make new things. I don’t really like reading patterns but I do enjoy watching and pausing a video. I am a visual learner!!!
So, here is the video so you can have a go at making this crochet baby booties!
I added a couple of my own touches to the booties, like the white pretty hearts at the back but overall I followed the pattern on the video.
Have a great Christmas and make the best out of this festive period!
