Granny Square Inspiration Series – A Simple Banner-

A Simple crochet Banner

Hey everyone,

I hope you are well and getting crafty, since the weather is getting colder and we tend to be more hours in the house.

Saying that, I find myself somehow not having enough time to make something…anything!  I don’t know what it is, but I crave some ‘me’ time and lately, I have to really fight for it. Add the pregnancy tiredness and exhaustion, helping my daughter with her homework, housework and, of course, some time with Mr.D then you can imagine that my personal time is under attack. Not on purpose but life happens but I am optimistic that better days will come 🙂

Granny Square Series is here again to show you another very easy project: A Simple Banner 🙂

A Simple crochet Banner

You know my love of granny squares, so coming up with ideas is so fun for me. This is one of the simplest projects and can make any space really pretty. Think a nursery room, kitchen window or even a fireplace, you just put your imagination!!

A Simple crochet Banner

All you need is a number of granny squares in the color combination of your choice and some extra yarn to create a chain.

I used the classic granny square design but you can choose whatever you prefer!

Here is the video of my favorite Bella Coco on how to crochet a classic granny square!!

Once you have enough granny squares, make a chain and attach them on it. The way I did it is by doing a slip stitch on each corner.

Be creative and combine lots of fun colors or designs.
