Hi lovely people 🙂
Last week I run out of yarn!!! Yes, seriously! It usually never happens to me but the last couple of months have been very busy, crazy and, without going in too much details, yarn-less 🙁 I looked everywhere and the only yarn I found, was some scraps from previous projects. It’s not enough to feed my addiction, so I put a cry of help to my Facebook page and guess what….I got a message from a fellow crochet, blogger angel!! She felt my pain…and she offered to send me some of hers until I get my own stash!!
Isn’t this wonderful? I have never met in person this lovely person but yet, she knew exactly what do in this kind of crisis!!! Don’t laugh….it’s a crisis, when you come back from work and after you’ve done all your normal routine household chores, to put your feet up and get comfy with your hook and some lovely yarn.
SO, thank you my lovely friend!!
In the meantime, I am sharing another project from the Granny Square Inspiration Series: A Pretty Bookmark!
This project, like most of the previous ones in the series, take very little time to make and you need very little yarn!
So, if you only got some scraps of yarn but in need of a quick project or gift then, this feel-good crochet project will save the day!!
How to make this pretty bookmark
Crochet three small granny squares in the color you like ( or have in your stash)
Use a yarn needle and stitch the corners together
Use a little more yarn to make a tiny little tassel and attach it to the end of your bookmark
Remember, that this kind of projects are fun to make and so easy! If you are a beginner, then this is perfect for you 🙂
I love easy peasy crochet projects, and the reason is that I don’t have so much time right now for something bigger and more elaborate. I am happy though, with my creations and I know I make lots of people happy, too!!
Grab a hook and make one in an afternoon(or less)!
Have a creative and fun week!!
