Spring Crochet Necklace {bunting necklace}

Hello lovely people!

I made something special to celebrate spring and all of its colors; a Spring Crochet Necklace {bunting necklace}. It is super easy to make and every girl, young or old, will love it…I promise! spring crochet necklace

Let me start by saying that I used scrap materials to make this necklace. I used scrap yarn and a broken necklace. If you don’t have any of that and would like to purchase the right tools and equipment, here is my list:

What do I need to make a crochet necklace?

  1. yarn (any color you like)
  2. jump rings
  3. lobster claw clasps
  4. pliers

I would recommend getting a jewelry-making tool kit that includes everything or, do what I did, use an old/broken necklace and take it apart. I simply took everything apart and with the help of pliers I fixed it up again 🙂 Not bad, huh?

How to crochet small triangles and make a bunting necklace

ch 5 / turn /4 sc /turn /3 sc /turn /2 sc/turn/1 sc fasten and weave in the ends

** Remember that the size of triangles depends on the crochet chain you do at the start. For bigger triangles, do a longer chain and then reduce by one every time you go to the next chain.

*** Using this technique you can also make big bunting decoration for your home!

For the Spring Crochet Necklace I used 100% cotton yarn but there are many options to choose from. A great option will be to use lace yarn! Make it colorful or just use one color; make it long or short; make it chunky or simple! A Spring Crochet necklace can take many shapes and colors but it will still be a unique piece of jewelry!
