Handmade Christmas Wreaths

Hi everyone 🙂

Can you believe it? It’s only 5 weeks till Christmas!!!

Every year, as hard as I try to be on top of all my planning for Christmas, I always feel that it’s not enough! Does this happen to you too? My hubby will probably say that I am going crazy again but between us now…don’t you feel that you don’t have enough time to finish all your WIPs?

Okay, I will stop nagging and share  my latest creation!  Back in Spring I made a crochet spring wreath and I totally enjoyed it. So, I decided to make one for Christmas too 😉

I love the traditional green, red and white colors, and I got some acrylic yarn, got my crochet hook and the rest is history!!

I used the suzette stitch (I also used that to make a washcloth!) to make a ‘blanket’ to cover the plain white polystyrene wreath!

Then, I used a yarn needle to stitch together the ‘blanket’ around the wreath!

Then, I crochet a simple red bow (like the one I did for the bow ties!) That’s it!!

Simple and Traditional 🙂

My daughter decided to do one as well and I must say..it’s gorgeous!!

She wrapped yarn around the wreath and I helped her make some pom poms!!

So many ideas for Christmas…will I have time to finish all of them? Who knows!

Stay tuned for more Xmas fun and simple crafts 🙂
