DIY Kid’s Party Favors

Hi everyone 🙂  It’s Party time!

There is nothing in the world that I enjoy the most than preparing party favors or decorations! I love all things crafty and putting together bundles of cuteness is a real joy for me. I adore printables and everything that has to do with paper crafts.

My daughter wanted to have a Barbie birthday cake….

and I decided to look around the web for Barbie birthday free printables. I didn’t have to look that hard; I discovered the cutest Barbie printables ever from a lovely website called Hostess with the Mostess® blog (HWTM)! They specialize in all things related to parties and events. I did not use all the printable tags and labels but just chose two of them: tent cards & party flags! Thank you HWTM for the gorgeous free printouts!

I went to a local store and bought other goodies to assemble the party favors. I used some polka dot ribbon, party bags in hot pink for girls and blue for boys and other small treats.

And here you are; simple, cute and colorful!

The party was hosted in a kid’s indoor playground! I wanted my daughter to enjoy some fun time with her best friends. So, I trusted the experts to take care of the decorations and catering and I enjoyed an iced coffee with the other moms(and dads). To be truly honest, this is not my kind of thing, as I love to decorate and be a great hostess. This time around though, I decided to allow myself to enjoy the day as well! After all, children just want to run around and play with their friends.

So, a simple and stress-free party was our goal and I think we accomplished that! Everyone had a wonderful time and my daughter had a smile from ear to ear.

I am happy she is happy 🙂
