One of my favourite seasons of the year is spring; the season of beautiful flowers and warmer weather; bursting buds and sun-seeking butterflies. Most of all though, Spring is the best time to rejuvenate your body and mind; to set goals and be brave; to try something new and quit something old; to be a better version of yourself.
“No matter how long the winter, spring is sure to follow”
Spring, in my dictionary, is synonymous to CHANGE! As nature is ‘waking up’ from hibernation and is welcoming all beautiful things, suddenly everything around is vibrant and alive. Getting in the same frequency as nature will allow you to embrace change.
I have been proud for one thing in myself; my ability to change from one environment to another, from one situation to another, from one job to another without feelings of doubt or regret. I have always wanted change and made it happen; changing my furniture around, changing careers, changing countries, changing hair styles. My rule has always been to enjoy a certain period of my life to the fullest and learn as much as possible from it, and then…move on.
Sometimes I wonder what makes people afraid of change. What is it that they truly afraid? I am thinking that most people do not want to admit to change for fear of failing or non-acceptance by others. The kind of change I am talking about is not simply a new haircut or a new outfit, but a deeper enlightenment.
“Your life does not get better by chance, it gets better by change.” Jim Rohn
For quite a few people this seems impossible, unwanted or pointless. I personally crave for change and always seek to be a better version of myself, so I find it hard to understand this way of thinking. The times, I might be wondering about my next steps I turn to all the resources available out there for inspiration. So, my kind of change starts from a deeper need for evolution; a better version of me that is closer to my purpose in life.
Here is a motivational video that I hope will lift you up 🙂
Don’t give up on your wants and dreams. Be brave and bold when setting goals. Change the way you think about yourself. Don’t listen to what other people say, unless it helps you move forward and closer to a meaningful life.
Change is Good.
Changing is not something to be afraid of but something to embrace.
